This post is somewhat overdue! As all of our patients know, Ross and I took over the practice from Dr Fox in December 2021 and as a classic young kiwi couple, we had to put our stamp on the place! 

We are so fortunate to have found some of the best and most flexible tradespeople to bring our dreams to life. Between January and March last year, we took our 2 chair practice and reconfigured it to 3 chairs. This increased capacity has enabled us to get more members on the team, and really decrease wait times for our community.

 

The commitment to the cause was unbelievable. We had Ross and Kareem army crawling under the floor, laying pipe and airlines at 10pm on Friday nights. Ross and Phil coming out in the weekends working in the 50 degree roof space to get our ceiling TVs up for you all to watch during treatment!

Huge thanks to Bethel Builders for the big effort they put in straight after Christmas for us. The team at Millbrook Kitchens get the award for most on time delivery of services and have done a wonderful job on our cabinetry and bench. Ryan for the big days plastering and painting - my sister Lizzie, Ross and Di for the assist on painting too! 

And our dental Engineer Zane for install of our new dental equipment- moving my fancy new dental chair over by two inches so it was just right for me!

 

And also a major thank you to our patients who were so flexible to move appointments or see associate dentists while Ross and I managed this huge project. Also to those who dealt with delays and room changes when our x-ray machine got stuck on the broken down Interislander, thank you!
